UCSF Mission Bay Campus Map

 

Directions to Dr. Alberts’ office, N312C Genentech Hall
Assuming you have reached the main Mission Bay campus, and are on 4th Street, walk in the direction of the large red building that you can see across the grassy quad. Immediately, you will see signs directing you to Genentech Hall, which is the second building on your left. Enter the building on the ground floor, and proceed to the security desk where you will need to sign in. Take the elevators to the 3rd floor and as you leave the elevators proceed down the hall past the large open area on your right. Turn right at the first corridor, where you’ll see signs directing you to Dr. Alberts’ office at N312C.

Street parking is very limited and most of the nearby parking is 2 hour parking spaces.

Directions

South Bay to UCSF Mission Bay Campus

1. Merge onto US-101 N
2. Take exit onto I-280 N
3. Take Mariposa St. exit
4. Turn Left at 3rd St.
5. Turn Left at 16th Street

Eastbay to UCSF Mission Bay Campus

1. I-880 N towards Oakland
2. Merge onto I-80 W
3. Take Exit 1C toward 9th Street
4. Keep left at the fork, follow signs for 8th Street & merge onto 8th Street
5. Slight left to stay on 8th Street
6. Turn Left at Brannan Street
7. Turn right at 7thStreet
8. Turn Left at 16th Street
9. Make U-turn at 4th Street

North Bay to UCSF Mission Bay Campus:

1. Take US-101 S toward San Francisco
2. Exit Richardson Ave./US-101 toward Lombard St. (Continue to follow US-101)
3. Continue down S. Van Ness Avenue
4. Turn Left at 16th St.
5. Make U-turn at 4th Street

  • Take any BART heading toward the East Bay.
  • Get off at Embarcadero BART Station.
  • Walk up to Muni bus line level.
  • Get on inbound T line (towards Sunnydale/Bayshore).
  • Get off at UCSF Mission Bay.
  • The UCSF Mission Bay Campus will be right across the street.

Eastbay to UCSF Mission Bay Campus

  • Take any BART in the direction of San Francisco, and get off at Embarcadero BART Station.
  • Walk up to Muni bus line.
  • Get on T line (towards Sunndayle/Bayshore).
  • Get off at UCSF Mission Bay.
  • The UCSF Mission Bay Campus will be right across the street.

Other BART Options to UCSF Mission Bay Campus

  • Get off of BART at Mission and 16th Street, walk to the UCSF Shuttle stop on 16th Street in front of Burger King, and take the Red UCSF Shuttle to the Mission Bay Campus shuttle stop on 16th and 4th Street.
